Col. (Ret.) Mike Verhage Named Vice President of TriVector's Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit

TriVector Services is pleased to announce that Col. John M. Verhage USAF, Ret. (Mike) is the new Vice President and Deputy Lead of the Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU). In this role, Verhage will work with Sr. Vice President Dr. Joey Shelton in managing the SBU, which provides key support in project management, systems engineering and integration, modeling and simulation, engineering analysis, configuration and data management, avionics and software integration, software foreign military sales, software safety, and software independent verification and validation to the U.S. Army and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
Verhage is a retired Air Force Colonel with over 20 years of executive experience under the Department of Defense (DoD) and working with industry partners. He has been repeatedly been selected for key leadership positions having led complex flight operations, maintenance and logistics organizations in both peacetime and combat contingencies. Verhage has worked with TriVector in support of the MDA since 2019.
In 1991, Verhage received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Christian Brothers University. In 1996, Verhage received his Master of Science in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle University in Tampa, Florida. Verhage attended Senior Executive Leadership classes at both Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. and Harvard University.
Verhage has over 20 years of community service that includes several key positions in the Boy Scouts of America at both District and Council level; additionally, he currently coaches Boys High School Lacrosse in Huntsville and is working with wounded veterans at numerous charity hunting events throughout the Southeast. Verhage is married to Kathryn Verhage, and they have five children.
