TriVector Employee Represents NASA and TriVector Services at New Zealand Schools

TriVector Senior Engineer Tim Atkins returned to New Zealand this September as recipient of an Erskine Fellowship from University of Canterbury (Christchurch) to lecture at the University.  He also presented NASA’s plans for space exploration to several grade schools and adult forums.

Tim’s primary responsibility was co-lecturing a 4th-year rocketry course at UC with Dr. Christopher Hann.  As part of this, Tim lectured with Dr. Hann from NASA-approved materials, including Deep Space Exploration with Artemis and the Space Launch System, Systems Engineering, and Rocket Systems Design.  Pictured below are Tim with Dr. Hann and some of their top students in the UC rocket development lab.

Although Tim worked hard during his time in New Zealand, he and his wife also enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and had a great time with his daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, who have made Christchurch their home.
